Terms of Service & LR Carriage Policy

1. Carriage Contract & Bilty Generation

All Full Truckload (FTL) goods transported by APV Logistics LLP are subject to the terms stated herein and on the official Consignment Note (Lorry Receipt / Bilty). Acceptance of vehicle placement by the consignor constitutes binding acceptance of these terms.

2. Consignor & Consignee Responsibilities

• The consignor must declare accurate cargo weight, description, commercial invoice value, and valid e-Way bill prior to dispatch.
• Proper packing, bundling, and waterproofing of goods is the sole responsibility of the consignor.
• Consignees must ensure prompt unloading of assigned vehicles upon arrival at destination premises.

3. Loading & Detention Policy

Free loading and unloading time limits are fixed at 6 hours for small/medium vehicles and 12 hours for 32ft MXL containers/trailers. Detention charges apply per calendar day if vehicle retention exceeds free hours due to consignor/consignee delays.

4. Carrier Liability & Transit Insurance

Carriage is executed at Owner's Risk (FOIR) unless Carrier Risk coverage is explicitly agreed upon in writing. Shippers are strongly advised to secure comprehensive Marine Transit Insurance. APV Logistics is not liable for losses resulting from Force Majeure events, highway blockades, civil unrest, or statutory authority impoundments.

5. Payment Terms & Legal Jurisdiction

Freight invoices are payable as per agreed advance and balance milestones (e.g. 80% upon loading, 20% upon e-POD submission). All legal claims and disputes arising out of carriage contracts shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Delhi, India.
